Arnold Clark Autoparts commends Automechanika UK

Arnold Clark Autoparts has hailed the success of this year’s Automechanika Birmingham exhibition, which was held at the NEC from June 6th-8th.

Visitors arrived through the doors of the NEC across the three-day event, and those at Arnold Clark Autoparts’ stand were able to benefit from the company’s technical experts and product displays, and could also sign up to the motor factor’s new trade website.

The parts distributor also displayed the Arnold Clark Autoparts-sponsored Vampire jet car, the apparent holder of the UK land speed record, and the car known for appearing on BBC’s Top Gear in 2006 when presenter Richard Hammond was involved in an accident driving what the company claims was this car.

The company’s stand reportedly offered insight into own-brand product lines including Ultratec oils and lubricants, Padtec brakes and Goliath batteries, as well as product ranges including Air for Life cabin sanitisers, and products from both Schaeffler and Kärcher.

Its involvement across the Automechanika Birmingham event week wasn’t limited to exhibition space within the NEC, with the company also sponsoring the ‘Best Community Initiative’ accolade in the inaugural Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards.

Won by CD Copland Motors Ltd. based in Angus, nominees for the accolade were recognised for an initiative, such as a donation, campaign, or promotion, which was effective in raising awareness of a local cause, charity, or issue, that ultimately benefitted the local area.

Craig McCracken, group factor manager at Arnold Clark Autoparts, said: “It was fantastic to be back at the NEC exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham and meet visitors and customers from across the aftermarket. Our stand was a hive of activity with great footfall across the three days, so we’ll look back at this year’s event as a huge success.

“It was also a privilege to be involved with the first ever Garage Awards ceremony on the Wednesday evening of the trade event. Celebrating the achievements of the garage industry and giving recognition to outstanding efforts to support continued affordable mobility across the country is really important.”
