First Line Ltd. eyes more aftermarket growth

With steering and suspension parts a safety critical product group, in addition to the continuous growth of the ageing vehicle parc, First Line Ltd. says it is perfectly positioned to provide a premium quality aftermarket offering for more cars than ever before.

This year, First Line Ltd. has been celebrating 30 years of its steering and suspension range, boasting a heritage and experience that “showcases its commitment to providing motor factors with wide-spread vehicle parc coverage and access to parts of the highest quality”.

First Line Ltd. first introduced its steering and suspension programme back in 1992, bringing a 1,000-reference portfolio to aftermarket professionals. Since then, the company has consistently averaged around 200 brand new steering and suspension parts each year – with more than 9,100 references now available, providing a range across passenger car and light commercial vehicles.

Meeting the trend

As the UK vehicle parc continues to evolve, with electric and hybrid vehicles gradually entering garages across the country, First Line Ltd. said technicians require aftermarket solutions to enable them to carry out servicing and repairs on these applications.

It also stressed the importance of having original equipment (OE) specification parts available in the aftermarket, so that workshops can service and maintain this new breed of vehicle, while futureproofing their business.

Each month, the company provides new-to-range bulletins, highlighting the updated coverage for various new electric and hybrid vehicles, particularly its steering and suspension range.

Highlights include suspension arms, ball joints and stabiliser links, which are available for Tesla’s Model S, the Vauxhall Corsa E and Volkswagen’s electrified range of ID 3 and ID 4 cars.

Every new reference is released only when available in stock, and each is provided with a complete, detailed application guide, plus technical information and images across platforms, such as TecDoc and MAM, as well as First Line Ltd.’s WebCat.

First Line Ltd. said motor factors can be assured of selling a quality offering, not just this brand but Borg & Beck too, with all components developed and then tested to OE specifications and tolerances.

For peace of mind, both First Line and Borg & Beck products are supplied with a two-year, 24,000-mile warranty against manufacturing defects.
