PCL is ready to connect at Automechanika Frankfurt

Tyre inflation expert PCL is looking SMART for Automechanika Frankfurt 2024, with its new Bluetooth enabled ACCURA QUBE to be showcased in Hall 8, stand J73.

Exhibiting alongside TECALEMIT, PCL is inviting visitors to see its SMART unit in action. Coupled with the PCL Workshop Connect App for remote inflation and reporting, it reportedly allows operators to build a database of inflation data through the app’s reporting mechanism, with each inflation recorded and downloaded as a PDF and CSV file.

Featuring all the benefits of the standard ACCURA QUBE Series II, the Bluetooth model is said to be ideal for HGV roadside tyre maintenance as it provides a 15-metre operating range, allowing the operator to keep out of harm’s way in case of tyre failure during inflation. Operators looking for a SMART solution for garages, dealerships, car hire, roadside assistance vehicles, MOT centres and automotive production lines should put PCL at the top of their exhibitor checklist, claims the company.

Also under the spotlight at stand J73 will be:

  • The ACCURA D12 Tyre Inflator, featuring an advanced, user-friendly design with touch screen, tyre shop specific software, default to last setting, over pressure mode and N2 purging. The D12 is said to provide increased cost savings for professional tyre applications and enhanced safety to meet today’s strict regulations.
  • The “Made in Sheffield” N72 Mobile Nitrogen Cart, which features PCL’s best-in-class ‘purge and fill’ software. It can apparently convert 4 air filled tyres to 95%+ Nitrogen simultaneously with the touch of a button and is powered by a rechargeable battery.
  • The UK-manufactured D93 Air and Water Tower. Showcased at UNITI Expo in May, it’s said the D93 generated excellent feedback from buyers looking for forecourt inflation solutions that reap rewards. Housed in steel for long life in harsh environments, the tower has a large, easy-to-read 30mm LCD backlit screen. Designed to drive repeat business and increase revenue, it includes a range of payment methods – cashless, coin and token – to suit local markets.
  • PCL’s range of digital, linear and dial handheld inflators – developed for a wide range of applications, from car and truck tyres used in tyre shops and workshops, to high-pressure models for commercial vehicles, aviation and forecourt service stations. These include the airlite eco Tyre Inflator, designed for comfort and ease of use, and the market-leading AIRFORCE® MK4.

PCL’s team will be on hand to guide customers through all of the products on display, as well as the wider portfolio – which includes a variety of air tools, air treatment, tyre pressure gauges and hose products.

PCL Managing Director, Lee Wright, said: “Our worldwide success is due to the company’s ability to develop a comprehensive and versatile range of tyre inflation solutions to meet customer needs and lead the way with advanced technology. We are therefore delighted to bring the Bluetooth enabled ACCURA QUBE to Automechanika and demonstrate how PCL’s Workshop Connect App’s data reports can provide a robust technician audit trail and logging of vital data, resulting in safety and peace of mind for operators and consumers alike.

“Please visit us in Hall 8, stand J73, and see how our safe and reliable products can maximise service and revenue whilst minimising costs.”
