Intermotor AdBlue injectors set for European debut
Intermotor, an engine management brand from SMP Europe, is set to unveil its latest range of AdBlue injectors at Automechanika Frankfurt from 10th to 14th September 2024.
The product solution has been developed and manufactured at SMP Europe’s UK centre of excellence in Nottingham, following research from the company that highlighted a small, but growing number of injectors entering the UK aftermarket and failing instantly, resulting in vehicle shutdown.
Intermotor’s new AdBlue injectors have reportedly undergone research and testing to meet stringent quality standards and are manufactured at its UK facility.
The range, currently going through the patent approval process, is designed to enhance performance and reliability in diesel vehicles built after 2015, complying with Euro 6 emissions regulations.
Martin Turner, marketing director at SMP Europe, the home of Intermotor, commented: “Automechanika Frankfurt is a great platform for us to introduce our new UK manufactured AdBlue injectors to the wider European market, following a successful first launch in the UK in June.
“Our engineering team has developed a high-quality product that addresses common issues such as blockages and overheating, ensuring longevity and superior performance.”
Intermotor’s AdBlue Injectors feature an improved heat sink design, which are said to reduce the risk of crystallisation and blockages, thereby extending the injector’s lifespan. Additionally, the simplified installation process eliminates the complex clamp design, making it easier for fitters to install and service the product, according to the company.
Visitors to Automechanika Frankfurt can get hands-on with and learn more about Intermotor’s product range including air mass meters, temperature sensors, EGR valves, exhaust gas temperature sensors, fuel vapour values, fuel injectors, ignition coils and leads – and its new AdBlue injectors range in Hall 3.0, stand H16.
The Intermotor engineering team will also be on the stand discussing how its products are designed and manufactured to the highest standard.
