Valeo Service capitalise on Asian vehicle brands
Valeo Service UK says it is helping the trade capitalise on the growth of Asian vehicle brands across the UK aftermarket, providing both factors and workshops with an extensive OE quality transmission range, stock availability, and technical support.
According to recent year-to-date data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), Chinese carmakers are accelerating their UK market share at a record-breaking pace.
Valeo says that as these modern passenger cars enter the critical three to five-year-old aftermarket “sweet spot”, independent workshops risk missing out on valuable revenue due to concerns over part availability or technical complexity.

Valeo says a key challenge for workshops servicing newer Asian applications is securing replacement transmission components quickly – pointing to possible main dealer backorders, which can leave vehicles occupying valuable ramp space, affecting productivity and profitability.
