Exol Lubricants unveils latest product for CV market
Exol Lubricants has announced the latest product updates in its lubricants portfolio as part of its commitment to providing the heavy-duty market with high-quality oils and lubricants.
To meet the ever-evolving needs of the commercial vehicle (CV) market, Exol’s Taurus Euro XFE 5W-20 offers a fully synthetic engine oil designed to provide users with fuel saving benefits.
It reportedly achieves this by using a state-of-the-art synergistic combination of premium synthetic base stocks and performance additives blended to an SAE 5W-20 viscosity grade.
Taurus Euro XFE 5W-20 is compatible with after-treatment devices fitted in modern heavy-duty diesel engines such as diesel particulate filters and selective catalytic reduction units and is said to provide extended oil drain intervals even in severe on-highway operating conditions.
Suitable for Scania LDF-5, MAN M3977 – SAE 5W-20, this oil is dyed green to apparently be consistent with MAN’s requirement for M3977 service fill oils.
An advancement beyond HD 5W-30 engine oils, this is said to improve fuel efficiency further and helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
Scania DC13 Euro 6 engines can take this technology now as well as MAN Euro 6 D26 and D38 engines.
2024 sees Exol celebrate its 40th anniversary. Since its inception four decades ago, Exol has been at the forefront of the lubricants industry, consistently delivering what it claims is excellence and innovation to its customers.
