PartsInMotion.co.uk reports demand increase

Online distributor, PartsInMotion.co.uk, says it’s bucking the trend in the automotive aftermarket, as it sees demand increase from independent garages for its expanding ranges of high-quality brands and products.

With a “volatile raw materials market” and “cost of living affecting both motorists and the automotive trade”, PartsInMotion.co.uk reported that it is experiencing demand for “higher quality, competitively priced” products.

Traffic to its website and Facebook page, which includes information and special offers, has also seen sharp rises in the number of visitors.

Demand for braking, clutch, steering and suspension, along with filtration and exhausts, is currently high.

Products are dispatched on next-day delivery service. The company said this was something that workshops have become more accustomed to since the coronavirus pandemic.

Matt Gates, director of PartsInMotion.co.uk, said: “We’re noticing a shift in attitudes by the market towards online, and independent garages are much more confident digitally. The wide range of products and brands, coupled with our support, means that we can work with workshops more closely and assist them with their planning.”

In recent months, PartsInMotion.co.uk has been actively promoting its availability of brands, such as BM Catalysts, Bosch, Blue Print, Borg & Beck, febi, Gates, KYB, NAPA and Schaeffler.
