LKQ UK & Ireland announces leadership transition

LKQ Europe today announces that Kevan Wooden is stepping down as CEO of LKQ UK & Ireland.
Dave Brookfield, currently VP of Human Resources at LKQ Europe, has been appointed interim CEO of LKQ UK & Ireland with immediate effect while a search for a permanent successor gets underway.
Dave brings almost two decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket to the role. He joined LKQ 16 years ago and was previously on the UK & Ireland leadership team, working closely on the operational development of the business before moving to his current position at LKQ Europe.
His appointment reflects the depth of experience and institutional knowledge within the LKQ leadership group.
Andy Hamilton, President & Executive Managing Director of LKQ Europe, said: “David was integral to the growth of our UK & Ireland business during my tenure as CEO. He understands its customers and the local market dynamics. Coupled with his intimate knowledge of our people, culture and operations, it makes him exactly the right person to lead the business through this transition.”
Kevan Wooden joined LKQ UK & Ireland as Chief Commercial Officer in 2019 before becoming CEO in 2023.
Andy continued, “I’d like to thank Kevan for all that he’s done with us over the last seven years. He made a significant contribution to raising customer and colleague standards and reinforced our leadership positions across the key accounts, garage concepts, workshop solutions and oBdyshop markets. He drove our digital leadership forward and oversaw the integration of our HGV and leisure and marine businesses into a consolidated group of unparalleled reach and scale. We all wish him well for the future.”
