TMD Friction receives IMI accreditation

TMD Friction has achieved the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Accreditation for its training course, offering globally recognised approved training for the Independent Aftermarket.

Following an approval process, which comprises application, quality assurances and ongoing monitoring, TMD Friction will be able to train and audit both workshop and individuals on its brake relining module as its first approved training accreditation.

TMD Friction offers training programmes across passenger car and commercial vehicle sectors and all training from the company includes final assessments.

Scott Irwin MIMI, Head of Technical Training at TMD Friction IAM, said: “This is fantastic news for TMD Friction. Becoming an official industry-recognised approved training centre is a great acknowledgement of TMD Friction’s learning and development programmes. We’re delighted that our training will be delivered with quality assurance, installing confidence to individuals and businesses throughout the automotive sector.”
