WAI expands alternators and starter motor range

WAI has expanded its range of alternators and starter motors, adding nine new references to its product portfolio.

Highlights in WAI’s latest starter motor references include units for the BMW X2, 1 and 2 Series (2018- onwards), BMW 1 and 2 Series and X2 (2019- onwards) and a start/stop compatible starter motor to cover the Fiat Ducato (2015-onwards).

WAI’s new alternator range, meanwhile, includes a 150A alternator for the Iveco Daily (2015-onwards) and a 120A alternator to fit the Kia Soul (2014- onwards) and Hyundai i20 (2014-onwards) models.

During the course of 2023, as of November, WAI has introduced 139 new part numbers in its rotating electrics product group, including 77 alternators and 62 starter motors.

The company recently invested in a brand-new headquarters and warehouse in Rotterdam, Netherlands, as it looks to offer customers greater availability and a new European hub.
