Marathon Warehouse Distribution Opens its new Gateshead Warehouse, Expanding Frequent Same-Day Delivery and Enhancing Nationwide Coverage.
Marathon Warehouse Distribution is delighted to announce the opening of its new Regional Distribution Centre for the North East based in Blaydon, Gateshead, which will go live on Monday, 5th October.
The new Gateshead warehouse will offer improved service to motor factor customers across the North East, with frequent same-day deliveries designed to support customers throughout the trading day.
The site has been strategically located to provide optimal access to Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees and other key conurbations in the North East, helping to improve frequency, lead times, availability and overall service levels.
The Gateshead site becomes the tenth Regional Distribution Centre in Marathon’s expanding national network, which already includes locations in London, Reading, Southampton, Colchester, Loughborough, Warrington, Castleford, Redditch and Caerphilly.
