IAAF Conference & Annual Awards Dinner heads home to Birmingham in major new chapter for the independent aftermarket.
The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has announced that its flagship annual Conference & Awards Dinner will relocate to The Vox at Resorts World Birmingham on Thursday 3 December, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of the aftermarket’s most important industry events.
Returning to the heart of the UK’s automotive industry, the move from Milton Keynes to Birmingham reflects the Federation’s ambition to create a bigger, more dynamic event that can continue to grow alongside the independent aftermarket.
The new venue significantly increases capacity, providing more opportunities for members, partners and industry professionals to attend, network and celebrate the achievements of the sector, while creating a platform for future expansion.
This year’s Conference will bring together industry-leading insight, thought-provoking discussions and a number of exciting new additions designed to deliver even greater value for delegates.
Among the highlights will be the introduction of a selection of award presentations during the Conference, creating two opportunities to recognise and celebrate excellence across the day, with further accolades presented at the prestigious evening Awards Dinner. The popular Garage Den will also return following its successful debut last year, giving businesses and innovators another chance to pitch new ideas, products and solutions to an expert panel and industry audience.
Delegates can also look forward to an inspiring keynote speaker, with further details to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The celebrations will continue into the evening with the prestigious IAAF Awards Dinner, bringing together the aftermarket for an evening of fine dining, industry recognition and first-class entertainment. Guests can expect an exciting entertainment line-up, with more announcements to follow as the event draws closer.
Mark Field, Chief Executive of IAAF, said: “This is much more than a change of venue; it’s a significant investment in the future of our Conference & Awards. The Vox gives us the space and flexibility to grow the event, welcome more of the industry and create an even better experience for delegates.
“By returning to Birmingham, we’re placing the event at the centre of the UK aftermarket, making it more accessible while creating an exciting platform to introduce new content, new experiences and new opportunities for our members and the wider industry.
“The Conference & Awards has always been one of the highlights of the aftermarket calendar, and we’re looking forward to revealing more about what promises to be our biggest and best event yet.”
Further announcements, including keynote speakers, award categories, entertainment and booking information, will be released over the coming weeks.
