Laser Tools adds steering stem nut socket for Triumphs
New to Laser Tools’ motorcycle tool range is a steering stem nut socket (part number 8691), designed for Triumph models.
The steering stem nut is located beneath the top yoke. This six-tooth castellated socket is designed to facilitate the accurate loosening, tightening, and torquing of the steering head bearing before installing the top yoke.
This 1/2” -drive socket is an “essential tool” for servicing the steering head bearings – also known as head race or headstock bearings – on various Triumph motorcycle models and is equivalent to the OEM reference T3880023.
Applications include Triumph Bonneville Bobber, T120, Daytona 675, Speed Triple R and S, Sprint GT and ST, and Triumph Tiger models. Laser Tools reported it is important to employ this socket in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended torque settings.
