DENSO returns to Automechanika Frankfurt
After an absence of six years, original equipment manufacturer and system supplier DENSO, will return to Automechanika Frankfurt in September, represented by its European Aftermarket division
DENSO Aftermarket Europe has a longstanding relationship with Automechanika Frankfurt and is said to be delighted to be back as one of the global exhibition’s tier one suppliers, present throughout the event from the 10th-14 September.
Exhibiting in Hall 2.0 (stand C91), DENSO says it will be using the international event to inform the world’s largest aftermarket-oriented audience of its latest news and updates.
Celebrating 75th year anniversary
From its foundation in Japan, to its growth across the world, DENSO will celebrate its rich history and heritage. The stand will commemorate 75 years of commitment to innovations, reportedly including the creation of the QR Code in 1994 and many world firsts in ignition, rotating electrics and thermal systems.
Expertise rooted in original equipment
Although diesel development and spark plug revolution are key DENSO specialisms, the company has also redefined the landscape when it comes to air conditioning (AC) with the creation of the HVAC (heating ventilation and air conditioning) system, which the company claims is capable of controlling the climate in three different cabin zones and helping improve overall fuel economy when the AC is on. DENSO’s AC and thermal management prowess will apparently take a central role in the products to be showcased during the event, although naturally, all the company’s product groups will be represented.
More than automotive
DENSO’s dedication to actively contribute to the betterment of global and societal wellbeing will be celebrated by highlighting several of its existing achievements in environmental protection, safety and non-automotive innovations, as well as providing a glimpse of what is to come, not just in the automotive sector, but in every area in which it operates. DENSO will also highlight its robotics expertise by demonstrating an intuitive robot that will reportedly compete with visitors in a ‘Connect Four’ game.
Notable among these initiatives include DENSO’s CO2 neutrality and remanufacturing activities, its venture with the Certhon Group to offer agricultural products and provide horticulture solutions, its Last Mile Cold Cube solution that integrates both hardware and software fundamentals, designed to tackle the obstacles in the transportation of climate sensitive produce, as well as the combined efforts of DENSO, DENSO Fukushima, and Toyota Motor Corporation in the production of green hydrogen for on-site use.
With these elements combined on a single stand, the DENSO team extends a warm welcome to visitors attending the event this autumn.
