National motor factor, Arnold Clark Autoparts, is set to offer giveaways and a prize draw at this year’s Automechanika Birmingham trade exhibition, held at the NEC from 6th-8th June.
The parts distributor will be on stand Q70, where it will reportedly display the Autoparts-sponsored Vampire jet car, the holder of the UK land speed record, and famous for appearing on BBC’s Top Gear in 2006 when presenter Richard Hammond suffered a high-speed accident.
Additionally, it claims that visitors to Automechanika Birmingham can take home giveaways from Autoparts’ own-brand product lines, see a display from a magician, and receive a free goody bag including branded Scottish shortbread.
Attendees will apparently also be able to sign up to Arnold Clark Autoparts’ e-commerce platform, the latest innovation in the company’s digital roadmap, which offers trade customers access to the group’s product range.
According to the company, the first 500 visitors signing up for new accounts on the motor factor’s new trade website will receive a free wireless phone charger and everyone who signs up will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two Dawes Arc II folding e-bikes, each worth over £1000.
The trade website is said to allow users to browse parts and compare pricing options, and see which parts are available for any vehicle using the vehicle registration look up tool.
Also featuring at the show are Arnold Clark Autoparts’ technical experts who will allegedly be on hand to provide insight into product ranges, including: Ultratec oils and lubricants, Padtec brakes, and Goliath batteries. It is said there will also be the chance to see its product ranges, including: Road Angel and Snooper dash cams, Air for Life cabin sanitisers and Kärcher products.
