Messe Frankfurt gives an insight into this years’ Automechanika Birmingham show preparations, and introduces the motorXfactor club programme.
PMF is excited at the prospect of welcoming you, as well as fellow industry professionals, to our stand (Hall 18 Stand ZZ72) between the 6th and 8th June at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
With only a few weeks before the doors open, Messe Frankfurt Marketing Director, Alex Jones, has revealed the floorplan is full! With more than 500 companies from 23 different countries ready to showcase their credentials, along with renowned guest speakers and panellists, we’re confident of a show full of energy, innovation and outcomes.
Before we show you some of the exhibitors gearing up for this year’s event, we had the chance to pitch some questions to Alex about Automechanika Birmingham show preparations and what visitors can expect:
Q. What is the best thing about Automechanika Birmingham 2023?
A. “Automechanika Birmingham is literally a city built full of new technology, tools and training. Registrations are at a record high and so the buzz of hearing 12,000 automotive peers exchanging knowledge and debating the big topics, like supply chain, price rises, MOT tensions and skills gaps, is likely to be vociferous. This is where it all gets sorted out!”
Q. What are you most excited about?
A. “The automotive industry is going through the biggest change in living memory; it’s tough out there for aftermarket businesses. Disruption and changes are happening more frequently than ever, and it’s harder to make a profit and plan for the future than ever before; therefore, the thing I’m most excited about is seeing all the work the team have put in come to life.
“The motor factor and retailer professionals can join the motorXfactor club, a brand new programme at the event offering distributors a number of VIP benefits (see above). Also, for the first time ever, our focus on Innovation4Mobility will see Automechanika Birmingham host a three-day keynote conference.”
The motorXfactor club VIP benefits include:
