Ring Automotive reveal new ULTRABOOST jump starter

Ring Automotive has revealed the ULTRABOOST 2000A (RJS040) jump starter, hailed as its most powerful ULTRABOOST yet.

The ULTRABOOST 2000A is capable of jump starting 8L petrol and 4L diesel engines, making it suitable for the majority of the car parc. It also has a ‘boost’ button that can energise batteries that are dead and comes with long cables.

The ULTRABOOST 2000A takes just 60 seconds to connect and start the engine effectively. It also has a large colour screen that has a battery indicator and colour status, so the health of the battery is easy to determine.

The screen also provides clear instructions for the user, such as the green star, which indicates the driver can turn the engine over and a red warning light for reverse polarity protection. There is also an ‘in’ signal which shows the unit is recharging and an ‘out’ signal to show the unit is charging another device by power bank. Finally, it has an orange coloured ‘low’ to show battery power is too low for a jump start, so the Boost button should be used.
