Gates launches timing belt kits

Independent distributors can now supply OE quality timing solutions from Gates for all types of drive systems for the first time.

An initial range of 51 SKUs has been developed for applications where there is existing demand for replacement parts. It includes models driven by ICEs and modern hybrid vehicles from manufacturers including BMW Mini, Citroën/Peugeot, DS/Fiat, Opel/Vauxhall, Renault/Nissan and VW/Audi/SEAT.

Gates says its online cataloguing system, which features full and up-to-date parts listings, includes images to make identification and ordering for specific applications easy. The QR code on each box leads technicians to the relevant information.
