Laser Tools launches heavy-duty torque wrenches

Laser Tools has introduced a new range of heavy-duty, click-type torque wrenches, designed for professional automotive and engineering applications.


Two 3/4″ drive and two 1″ drive versions are available, all featuring a 24-tooth ratchet mechanism and a scale. They also comprise of large, knurled grip handles and spring-loaded locking collars.

The 8957 3/4″ drive model is 1,012mm long and offers a torque range of 100 to 600Nm (73.8-442.5 lb-ft), with precise adjustment in 0.25Nm increments. 8958 is also a 3/4″ drive model, this time 1,220mm long with a torque range of 160 to 800Nm (118-590 lb-ft), adjustable in 4Nm increments.

The extra-heavy-duty 1″ drive models sport two-piece handles to get the required extra leverage. The 8959 is 1,827mm long and offers a torque range of 240 to 1,200Nm (177-885lb-ft), this time adjustable in 6Nm increments. The 8960 model is also 1,827mm long, but the torque range is now an impressive 480 to 1,500Nm (354-1,106lb-ft), also adjustable in 6Nm increments.

All Laser Tools’ torque wrenches are supplied with a certificate of conformance and calibration produced at point of manufacture, as per ISO 6789-1:2017. These heavy-duty examples are supplied in a sturdy blow-moulded case for safe storage and transport.
