Laser Tools (The Tool Connection) has announced that the company remains open for business and is fully operational.
The company revealed it is still supplying specialist tools to motor factors all over the UK and Europe; and, importantly, its technical sales advisors are still available via telephone and email and offering full support.
Therefore, the company remains open to support its network of customers, including those who are actively maintaining the supply chain, which is said to be crucial to keeping the country’s COVID-19 response moving.
Many of Laser Tools customers supply garages, workshops, accident repair centres, and haulage companies with the tools and consumables that are necessary to keep these key workers and businesses going.

The company has also been working hard to adapt to the constantly changing circumstances and as a business, Laser Tools states it takes very seriously the health of its staff, colleagues and customers, and to this end they have instigated a number of changes to its working procedures:
- In the warehouse its social distancing measures mean reduced staffing levels but this has been countered with increased shifts. Laser Tools is still picking, packing and delivering
- The sales and tech-van teams are off the road for now, but all remain available to customers via telephone and email
- More than 60% of office-based staff (and all of the sales staff) are now working from home, still offering 100% functionality to the business and customers
