Unpacking LIQUI MOLY’s bag-in-box packaging system

LIQUI MOLY has made its packaging more environmentally friendly, with the bag-in-box packaging system.

The bag-in-box packaging system, compared to conventional 20L plastic canisters, contributes to 90% less plastic waste and the additional variant also fits into the LIQUI MOLY oil cabinet.

The exterior of the new bag-in-box packaging consists of coated, waterproof cardboard – which contains a fully recyclable plastic bag – while there is an integrated drip-tray made of galvanised sheet steal.

It can also be locked to help counteract lubricant loss. LIQUI MOLY claimed that even when filled with oil, the new container scores points compared to the pure plastic canister when it comes to the space required on a pallet.
