Thermostat housings and flanges
GGB’s range of thermostat housings and flanges now covers 280 different applications to keep pace with the changes to this area of technology.
The humble car thermostat has gone through huge technological changes over the last 10 to 15 years. The common standard wax element is now being replaced by complete housing assemblies, many of which include both the thermostat and electric sensor switch.
The number of different applications has also grown quite considerably and, with the recent range extension, GGB now lists 280 different applications, which also include flanges.
This range not only covers many newer models, but also applications that are simply not available from other sources.
Top strut mount kits
GGB’s range of Original Birth OE quality suspension mounting and bearing kits has been expanded.
The range now covers more than 50 of the most popular applications, with another 300 plus individual mountings and bearings stocked to complement the range where kits are currently not available.
A combination of the increased number of pot holes and speed humps on the roads, together with the general decline in road quality, has put an enormous strain and workload on these particular components.
As a result, the last 12 months have seen these products become one of the company’s fastest-growing product groups.
Complete timing chain kits
GGB stocks a full range of complete Timing Chain Kits, from Original Birth, with most kits including the cam and crank gears (where necessary) chain, tensioner, guide rails, gaskets, seals and bolts.
One timing chain kit, which the company says has been the star of 2016, is the ref. 6184, suitable for BMW 2.0 Diesels (N47 Engines) fitting across the range of series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
This 12 piece kit also includes the oil pump chain. These models are well known for suffering faults once they get a few miles on the clock.
