Apec claimed many environmental factors can result in the failure of a vehicle’s air springs, citing oxidisation of rubber seals that can cause them to dry out and leak, or contamination from leaking shock absorbers. These air springs are supported by a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty guarantee.
