UK independent national wholesale distributor, Marathon Warehouse Distribution has become the exclusive distributor of the NK automotive brand in the UK.
The initial NK range at Marathon includes coated discs, disc brake pads, brake drums, brake shoes and brake sensor wires. The range, which is fully catalogued on MAM and EMPOWER, is available from Marathon’s national network of 14 warehouses and will be followed by other product groups successively.
NK is a very well established brand in Europe, originally a Danish based brand but due to continuous growth, NK products are now marketed and sold all over the Continent, enjoying particularly strong success in the highly demanding markets of Scandinavia, Germany, France and Eastern Europe.
To underline its high quality profile, NK offers one of the most comprehensive guarantees in the automotive aftermarket with a five year warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Additionally NK has recently introduced a new wear guarantee on brake pads for an industry leading 22,000 miles.
In terms of range coverage, NK’s ambition is to cover more than 95% of the European vehicle fleet for passenger cars and light commercial vans from the 1980s until today. With Marathon’s hands-on expertise and market knowledge, the launch stock in the UK will cover the overwhelming majority of the actual parts needed from British installers from day-one.
