LIQUI MOLY to showcase full range at Automechanika
LIQUI MOLY will be exhibiting for the first time in Hall 12 at what is claimed to be the world’s largest automotive aftermarket trade fair, Automechanika Frankfurt, where it will be showcasing its complete range on around 450 square meters at Stand B01.
The range on display will include new lubricants and additives as well as the revised car care line. Two technical presentations from the areas of research and development are to round off the company’s appearance at Automechanika.
The spectrum of the full-range supplier for automotive chemicals, whose core business is lubricants, engine oils and additives, is said to be enormous. An impression of just how extensive it is will reportedly be given to the specialist workshop and aftermarket audience at Automechanika. From September 10th to 14th, the company will also be exhibiting its equipment and concepts in Frankfurt am Main, which it says are designed for business partners to generate more revenue.
Individual online marketing is focused on the leading topics at Automechanika – sustainability, digitalisation and innovations. The concept: Advertise in a targeted manner and with little effort, but with great benefit for the business customer. Social media plays an important role in this. In cooperation with the service provider Social Pals, LIQUI MOLY is said to regularly launch online campaigns that are tailored to business customers and ensure additional frequency in the workshop.
LIQUI MOLY’s revised car care line is also celebrating its premiere in front of an international audience. It is divided into the areas of windows, paintwork, tires and interior. The company claims around half of the car care products are new to the range or have had their formulas revised. For example, polishes have been developed further. The new formulations are apparently easier to apply and buff up. New polishing sponges and cloths complement the range to suit this area of application.
For a lubricant brand at Automechanika a matter of course: new engine oils such as Special Tec AA 0W-8. LIQUI MOLY’s thinnest engine oil yet claims to offer fuel savings and protection for the engine at the same time. In the commercial vehicle division, the Top Tec Truck 6150 5W-30 is new. The new Top Tec Truck 6150 5W-30 meets the latest approval as per DTFR 15C130 from Daimler Truck, according to the company.
Oliver Kuhn, Head of Application Technology at LIQUI MOLY’s mineral oil plant in Saarlouis, will discuss the development of lubricants in his presentation: “ACEA oil specifications – a short history from the past to the present”. This will take place on Thursday, September 12, from 10:30-11:00 AM, in the event area of Hall 12.
Head of Development David Kaiser will speak about oil and fuel additives at the same venue from 10:00-10:30 AM, a day later. A new development in his department is the DEF Anti-Crystal Additive Concentrate. The additive for the reducing agent AdBlue® is designed to protect the SCR system for exhaust gas aftertreatment against damage.
