Castrol has launched an engine warranty scheme that has been designed to help independent workshops maximise customer satisfaction and retention.
Castrol SERVICE workshops can now offer the 12-month or 18,000 miles Castrol Engine Warranty to customers when they have an oil change using Castrol lubricants. All costs for the new warranty are said to be covered by Castrol, meaning there is no charge to the customer or to the participating workshop*.
Customers of participating workshops can register for the free Castrol Engine Warranty scheme here. If they need to claim for repair work under the warranty, this can be submitted online.
Layla Yebaile, Head of Marketing Indirect Channel at Castrol, commented: “This new warranty scheme means independent workshops can offer their customers a tangible additional benefit for having their car serviced using Castrol oil. There is no financial risk to the participating workshop should there be an issue with the engine following a service or oil change. It gives greater peace of mind to the customer, and provides another way for businesses to differentiate themselves.”
