BM Catalysts acquires latest warehouse facility
European manufacturer of aftermarket hot end emissions products, BM Catalysts, has announced the acquisition of a new warehouse facility, demonstrating its commitment to the long-term future of its business and the industry.
This investment follows a reported record-breaking year of sales, prompting the need for expansion to meet increasing market demand.
The newly acquired warehouse facility, spanning over 41,000 square feet, is strategically located next to BM Catalysts’ Fulwood Rise production plant, situated near the M1 in North Nottinghamshire. This marks the fifth facility for BM Catalysts in the UK, providing a combined manufacturing and warehousing space of over 214,000 square feet.
Mark Blinston, commercial director at BM Catalysts, commented about the company’s continued expansion: “The business continues to grow, and our dynamic approach allows us to adapt to the challenges that come our way. We’re experiencing significant growth in demand across the markets we operate in, and we recognise that there are huge opportunities in this sector in the years to come. The new site will enable us to increase production capacity at our Head Office plant while simultaneously expanding our stock holdings in the new facility, streamlining the dispatch process for even greater speed and efficiency. It’s another example of our company’s ongoing commitment and investment in the future of this sector”.
Anticipated to become operational within the next 12-18 months, it is also said that the newly acquired site may undergo further expansion to accommodate the growing needs of the business.
BM Catalysts’ manufacturing and warehouse facilities allow the company to maintain stock levels of over 80,000 parts, covering what it claims is 90 percent of the European car parc, while also developing up to 300 new-to-range parts each year.
