Autowave and FPS announce distribution agreement

Autowave, a provider of car keys and programming equipment, has announced a distribution agreement with FPS, a parts providers in the UK. The partnership marks a milestone in Autowave’s history and supports its mission in delivering same-day car key supplies nationwide.

Under the terms of the agreement, FPS now offers a range of Autowave products, which are said to include: remotes, keys, transponder chips, remote cases, key programming devices, key-cutting machines and blades.

The collaboration is reportedly set to enhance service efficiency for locksmiths, motor factors, and garages across the UK. It’s also claimed that FPS customers now benefit from same-day delivery available on over 400 of the bestselling lines. Overall, there are 1,500 product lines accessible through the FPS national network.

What’s included in the range:

  • Full range of remote keys
  • Key cases and manual keys
  • Key blades
  • Transponder chips
  • Key programming devices
  • Key-cutting machines
  • Key cloning devices

Profitable opportunity

The modest cost of a remote key through FPS is designed to enable motor factors to achieve excellent profit margins. Autowave’s financial model is said to represents revenue potential, benefiting independent workshops that purchase from FPS-supplied motor factors. Both FPS and Autowave claim to be confident, therefore, that this new agreement will facilitate mutual growth and success throughout the supply chain.

According to the company, as its network expands, workshops and locksmiths will increasingly be able to order and receive products from their local motor factor on the same day. This arrangement also claims to remove the need for these businesses to hold stock in-house; it will save space and increase convenience. Promisingly, it’s also said they won’t have to turn down jobs due to a lack of available keys.

“Delighted to join forces”

Commenting on the deal with FPS, Autowave CEO, Ravi Kotecha, said: “We are thrilled to join forces with FPS. Its reputation, dedication to quality and customer service aligns perfectly with our values. This agreement will significantly expand our reach and enable us to better serve our customers across the UK.”

Alliance Automotive Group Head of Category, Natalie Kurek, commented: “Partnering with Autowave allows us to offer our customers an even wider array of premium products.
