Arnold Clark Autoparts launches MOT deals
With 3.4 million vehicles due their MOT this September, the next couple of months are reportedly set to be the busiest on record for MOTs. National motor factor, Arnold Clark Autoparts, is highlighting its latest MOT madness deals, designed to help workshops prepare for the increased demand.
Arnold Clark Autoparts MOT offers are said to include double A-Points on selected product lines throughout August and September, made-to-order number plates from £5.25 each and 5L of Ultratec oil to match a service kit for just £10.
Batteries
It’s said a quick battery test on every vehicle that comes in for an MOT can help motorists avoid failure down the line. Arnold Clark Autoparts offers a wide range of Goliath batteries with a comprehensive three-year warranty, plus, A-Points customers can get 40 A-Points with every Goliath battery purchased, according to the company.
Tyres
With one in four MOT failures due to tyre-related issues, the motor factor stocks a variety of brands, from RoadX to Pirelli and it says all tyres can be delivered with normal parts deliveries.
Braking
Around 10 percent of vehicles are said to fail their MOT for braking issues, and Arnold Clark Autoparts claims it can support garages with a range of great prices and brands on pads, discs and callipers. Also, A-Points customers can apparently earn 40 A-Points on every set of brake pads and 60 A-Points on every set of brake discs and calipers.
The latest offers from the motor factor also cover its own brand braking product range, which meet and exceed OE standards. This includes its Padtech brake pads, which the company says are manufactured to exceed R-90 regulations and its Disctech range offer a coated disc.
Springs and shock absorbers
Suspension is allegedly the second biggest cause of MOT failures in the UK behind lighting. Arnold Clark Autoparts stocks QH and Kilen components, with most part numbers available for immediate delivery.
Service and timing belt kits
As most customers have an annual service at the same time as an MOT, keeping the most popular service kits in stock helps to keep ramps moving. Suppliers include service kits from NGK and FRAM and timing belt kits from Gates.
