Arnold Clark Autoparts has announced the winner of its Supplier of the Year award, recognising efforts in parts availability and customer service throughout the last year.
Braking specialist TMD Friction has scooped the Supplier of the Year accolade, following a judging process undertaken by Arnold Clark Autoparts staff.
Craig McCracken, group factor manager at Arnold Clark Autoparts, said: “It’s a pleasure to recognise our suppliers’ service to our expanding branch network, and kudos to TMD Friction for winning this year’s Supplier of the Year award.
“Nominations come from across the business to recognise the efforts made by aftermarket suppliers to provide unrivalled levels of customer service and demonstrate a product range that serves an extensive area of the vehicle parc.”
In addition to this year’s winner, TMD Friction, the suppliers shortlisted were previous winners: First Line, BGA, BM Catalysts, and Klarius.
Scott Irwin, head of technical training at TMD Friction, said: “This award is testament to the uncompromising approach to customer service and product innovation of TMD Friction over the last year.
“We’re delighted to be named as winners of this coveted award and gain recognition for our effort to ensure our product range, stock availability and customer service are all maximised.”
The awards reportedly reflected more than ten companies’ efforts during 2022 across several categories including ease of ordering, availability of stock, warranty handling and technical support.
Arnold Clark Autoparts is said to be one of the fastest growing UK motor factors, having innovated parts distribution for the past 30 years. With branches across Scotland, Northern England and the Midlands, the company claims to have continued to invest in its business, with the opening of a new branch in Chesterfield.
