Wraparound braided harness sleeving from Connect Workshop Consumables, the self-closing braided sleeving provides a lightweight and easy-toinstall solution for protecting and tidying electrical wiring harnesses.
It is flame retardant, has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, is resistant to most chemicals and solvents, and has excellent noise vibration reduction properties, making it suitable for automotive use. It is ideal for use when repairing an existing wiring harness or loom, or for helping to secure additional wiring for new components, such as aftermarket audio equipment, car alarm, reversing sensors and cameras, or a vehicle tracker. The braided sleeving does not look out of place on classic vehicles.
Available in six tube diameter sizes: 5mm (39878), 8mm (39879), 10mm (39885), 13mm (39904), 16mm (39906) and 25mm (39998), all supplied in 5m lengths. Users only need to choose a suitable size, cut to the required length with scissors, then wrap around the wiring. The braid then closes up around the wires.
New to the Laser Tools range is a balance shaft removal and installation kit for the Jaguar/Land Rover AJ200 2.0l diesel engines (8271). When used in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM’s) instructions, the kit features everything necessary to safely remove, refit and align the gear-driven balance shafts on these engines.
Applications include: Jaguar EPace (2017-onwards), F-Pace (2016- 2020), XE (2015-2020), XF (2015-2020). Land Rover Discovery (2017-onwards), Discovery Sport (2015-2019), Range Rover Evoque (2015-2019), Range Rover Sport (2016-2018), Range Rover Velar (2017-onwards).

Guaranteeing compliance with industry standards of torque-controlled tools, the Laser Tools range of three digital torque testers are able to check accuracy and repeatability of torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers. Three versions are available: 8303 (1.5-30Nm), 8304 (25-500Nm) and 8305 (100-2000Nm).
The testers are mains powered (via a DC adaptor), feature a clear, four-digit LED display, and have a sampling rate of 333SPS and an accuracy +/-1% (calibration according to BS7882:2008). They have a lightweight but robust aluminium body and are intended to be mounted or fixed to a solid surface, such as a work bench. Mounting bolts are included.
