GYS expands induction heating support

GYS has the UK covered with former technicians behind the wheel of new demonstrator vans.

GYS has introduced two “specialist demonstrators” to help customers across the UK. Each is equipped with a fully kitted-out demonstration van, and both are available to support GYS distributors with tool presentations to their customers and on booked workout days.

GYS claims induction heating is a major growth market, confident that it offers many advantages over the traditional use of flame; for example, it can heat parts quickly and precisely, cutting job times and avoiding damage to surrounding components. On top of that, businesses can save on running costs, lower insurance premiums and stay in line with increasingly strict health and safety regulations.

Covering the South, Keifer Ludman (left) joins GYS with a background running his own workshop, as well as time at Kwik Fit and Formula One. In the North, Joshua Martin (bottom), another experienced technician and with a truck tyre fitting background, has been in place since August last year.

A company spokesperson said: “It’s a great time for motor factors to get involved, with demand for induction heating growing fast. Once workshops see and try the product, they can quickly see the benefits. GYS manufactures its range in France, offers full technical support from its HQ in Rugby and now have two specialists covering the country.”
