Comline will be looking to “strengthen and develop its already impressive business in export markets”.

Since Comline’s last appearance in 2018, the all-makes brand said it has maintained course through the pandemic and continued to forge new and strengthening partnerships with distributors around the world.

Comline travels to the German metropolis with a sense of optimism and opportunity for its five-day showcase.

Comline General Manager – Marketing and Communications, Leigh Davies, said: “It’s great to have Automechanika Frankfurt back! It’s an exhibition like no other in our industry and there’s a real sense of anticipation at its return. The Comline stand reflects the stature of the event and our continued growth since our last outing in 2018. It’s our largest stand ever and we’re also debuting in a prominent new location.”

Resistant to corrosion, less noise and durability differentiate the new range of aftermarket discs and pads dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs), according to Brembo, as it prepares to launch the Beyond EV Kit.

Derived from original equipment, these “combine low environmental impact with performance and safety”.

The new range includes a new disc and pad, tailor-made for the market’s most popular EVs. A double-protective treatment helps to prevent corrosion of the entire kit, while a special copper-free friction material with a galvanized backing plate reduces dust and road noise when braking.

The Tool Connection will be focussing on EVs. On display will be the hybrid and EV safety range from Laser Tools, which includes workshop safety, vehicle safety and personal safety items, along with the range of fully insulated tools and testers for safe working on high voltage EVs.

Also appearing will be the ‘naked Zoe’ — a purpose-built spaceframe chassis fitted with the full Renault Zoe EV drivetrain. This display lets visitors see exactly how an EV vehicle works, from battery position to the main electric motor and cooling systems.

In addition, visitors will be able to see examples of Laser Tools’ most recent and ever-increasing ‘Made-in-the-UK’ engine timing tools and suspension bush tools.

Carwood will be showcasing its expanded aftermarket portfolio of green solutions. With sustainability one of the core themes of this year’s exhibition, the OE approved remanufacturer will demonstrate how its products, including fuel systems, turbochargers, diesel particulate filter cleaning and rewound motors, are helping to save raw materials, energy and waste to landfill, and customers money – all without compromising on the quality of the product.

“As vehicles become much more fuel-efficient and cleaner, the technologies required to maintain the high levels of performance on the road are evolving quickly,” explained Carwood Deputy Managing Director, Simon Quantrell.

A full range of its remanufactured fuel pumps and injectors covering all makes and models of vehicle, including car, Euro 6 commercial vehicle and tier 3 off-highway applications, will be on display.

With its first product launch in 10 years – a range of new propshafts – a new website and an enhanced export division, Shaftec will use this year’s Automechanika Frankfurt to demonstrate how through “strategic business investment”, it is ready to drive its brand further into Europe, as it looks for exciting new distribution opportunities.

Incorporating over 20 years’ experience in the field of driveshaft and CV joints, this new range of propshafts “perfectly complements” the company’s existing product portfolio. With an initial range of 170 OE matched quality one, two and three-piece surcharge free parts, offering European parc coverage across the classes and available with 95% availability from the start, there are a further 40 parts in development.

Meanwhile, the new website has been developed as part of Shaftec’s new brand image implementation, which offers a “more dynamic user experience” and is “much easier to use on mobile devices”.

With new sections, such as ‘quality and accreditations’, the whole look and feel of the website has been updated in line with refreshed corporate guidelines. Furthermore, it is heavily focussed on the Shaftec strapline: Drive. Steer. Stop.

Schaeffler will also be looking at the daily repair routine expected in a modern workshop, as well as the future of mobility.
