September’s new UK aftermarket appointments

PMF introduces Septembers movers and shakers as they begin a new stage of their career in the UK aftermarket.

PHINIA

PHINIA, owner of the Delphi brand, has announced the appointment of Richard Masters as UK diesel business development manager and Mike Parker as business development specialist.

With more than two years’ experience at PHINIA already, the company says Richard brings customer-focused expertise to the role, having previously worked within its Original Equipment Service division supporting some of its OE customers.

Now, Richard is responsible for managing and collaborating with key diesel customer accounts across the UK.

Meanwhile, Mike brings over 20 years of experience in the sector to PHINIA, with a background in technical, commercial, and business development roles. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with customers and partners to support growth, strengthen relationships, and deliver long-term value.

In his new role, Parker is focusing on supporting PHINIA’s UK growth strategy, working closely with customers to identify opportunities and strengthen engagement across the business.

Motor Parts Direct

Motor Parts Direct has appointed Gary Holden as its new head of strategic accounts.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, Gary joins Motor Parts Direct with an extensive background in sales, business development, and national account management. During his career, he has held a variety of senior commercial roles and previously led national accounts with distributors in the sector.

In his new role, Gary leads the company’s National Account Team, focusing on developing and expanding its national accounts portfolio while ensuring customers continue high levels of service.

Comline Group

Comline Group is pleased to introduce Zoe Stergides as the latest addition to its sales team, strengthening support across Northeast England and Scotland.

With 22 years in the automotive aftermarket, Zoe brings hands-on experience and an understanding of the supply chain. Her automotive journey began at Godfrey Autoparts in a business development role; she helped create new accounts and build foundations with workshops in the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas.

She later spent five years at Motor Parts Direct before playing an influential role in the launch of Automotive Distribution Centre.

Comline Group says Zoe has made an immediate impact, securing new accounts across both the Comline and Motaquip brands. Furthermore, she has represented and introduced herself to customers at trade shows, including those at A1 Automotive Group, Part Service and EU Linco.

Frasle Mobility

Toby Whewell has been promoted to managing director of Frasle Mobility’s UK operations, with Mark Clegg retiring from the position and will leave the business at the end of the year.

Toby held the role of sales and marketing director for the past eight years, and he was instrumental in the sale of Juratek to the Brazilian multinational in 2023, which has since seen the Fras-le and Nakata brands added to the company’s UK portfolio, alongside Abtex.

Mark, who joined the business in 2015, leaves behind a legacy that started in a local Motorworld store almost 40 years ago. He wishes to spend more time focusing on aspects of his personal life and family.

Speaking on his retirement, Clegg said: “The past 11 years at Juratek have been incredible, and I’m proud to have led the team through its continued transition into the Frasle Mobility family.”

Toby added: “I would like to thank Mark for his invaluable contribution over the past 11 and a half years, and also Frasle Mobility for trusting me with this position as we enter the next phase of our journey.”
