Banner provides ‘useful reference point’.

To assist with decision making and procurement, Banner is confident its range of battery chargers, power packs, testers and accessories is a useful reference point.
Readily available in print or viewable on Issuu using a dedicated QR code, the eight-page, A5 product range literature details the key features of each product shown, including the UK part number and relevant pricing. The guide also serves as a reference medium within both a busy workshop and trade counter setting. (QR CODE HERE)
Banner Country Manager, Lee Quinney, said: “It is well documented that garages and workshops must stay equipped with the latest tools to monitor and maintain battery health – both as a duty of care and to ensure optimal vehicle performance. At Banner, we continue to lead the charge in this field. This guide showcases our comprehensive range of testing and charging solutions, setting the standard in an area that’s never been more crucial.”
What’s making the headlines?
Inside are the latest Accucharger 15A and 25A models. These chargers utilise a multi-stage charging process that maximises battery life and performance. With seven charging phases, a 16V boost function, and charging currents of 15A or 25A, Banner is confident these units ensure batteries are “always operating at peak efficiency”.
Key features of the Accuchargers include a supply mode that prevents the loss of vehicle data when batteries are changed, whilst also delivering protection against splash water and overcharging. In addition, there is integrated cooling ventilation.
Suitable for charging all batteries employing 12V and 24V technologies (standard, Ca, start-stop EFB/AGM and GEL), including lithium (LiFePO4), this not only makes it possible to charge conventional vehicles, but also opens the door to charging e-scooters, e-carts and cars fitted with lithium starter/on-board batteries, not to mention long-term discharge batteries in the hobby and leisure sector.
Battery testing is described by Banner as the “frontline defence” during any vehicle service, so details of its next generation BBT HD1+ tester are included in the literature. Designed for car, truck and motorcycle batteries, it measures voltage, internal resistance and charging-starting performance for both 6V and 12V systems.
Featuring rugged casing and lightweight design, the BBT HD1+ is engineered for testing, right down to temperature compensation, without straining the battery.
Beyond these products, Banner’s guide includes additional power packs, chargers and battery accessories.
Advisory
Frequent short journeys, irregular driving profiles and the daily use of additional electrical consumers can put a strain on the battery and impair its performance. Regular maintenance of the vehicle battery is advisable, especially following the challenges of winter. Combining battery charging with seasonal tyre changes in spring and autumn ensures trouble-free starting and long service life.
