SMP Europe declares temporary ERP system shutdown

SMP Europe is informing its customers and partners of a scheduled ERP system shutdown to carry out essential updates to the system.
The planned maintenance will take place from Thursday 27th March, with normal order processing returning on Tuesday 1st April.
The system shutdown is said to be part of SMP Europe’s commitment to continuously updating its processes and systems, designed to enhance its customer service levels and business efficiency.
Martin Turner, Marketing Director at SMP Europe, commented: “We are working to ensure the ERP system shutdown causes minimal disruption to our customers and the business. We would like to thank everyone in advance for their patience and cooperation.”
The last day for normal ordering will be Thursday 27th March, with the ERP system shutdown happening on Friday 28th and Monday 31st March. On Tuesday 1st April, normal order processing will resume and customers choosing next day delivery on orders will receive these on Wednesday 2nd April.
